When funeral rites begin to be performed, we begin to live in our individuality

— In other words, we purify our life with pure, virtuous deeds, then purity comes into us. With knowledge comes the understanding of life, and with ‘Bhakti’ (devotion and prayer) our ego is destroyed. Our actions keep us linked with the world, knowledge links us to ourselves, while Bhakti links us with God. Then the journey of our life comes to conclusion. When funeral rites begin to be performed, we begin to live in our individuality. Then there is only one stage in our life and that is Brahma.
Thus,
When we lose all interest in accomplishing something
 When nothing remains to be done;
 When our curiosity ends altogether,
 When we have no longer the desire to become something,
–o When nothing remains to be done, then the dust element disappears.
In other words, the extremely subtle influence of the dust element on us disappears, attachment comes to an end.
–o When nothing remains to be achieved, then the influence of the water element comes to an end, that is, rage dies out.
–o When nothing remains to be known, the influence of the fire element comes to an end, in other words, lust is no more.
–o When nothing remains to become, the element of air disappears; that is greed disappears.
